An extra-end loss kept Tracey Jones and Melinda Kotsch out of the B.C. Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
The Prince George curlers were part of the Kamloops-based Allison MacInnes team that competed in a women’s inter-regional playdown in Enderby on the weekend. On Sunday, the MacInnes foursome, which also included Amanda Brennan, lost a B-event final 7-6 in 11 ends to Karla Thompson of Kamloops. The game was used to decide the second and final provincial qualifier from the Thompson-Okanagan region.
